How linen fabric is made:
Linen is made from the flax plant which is one of the oldest cultivated plants by humans. Flax plant is more adaptive to weather conditions, thus almost no chemicals are used in flax growing compared to other fabrics. The flax could be harvested by machines or by hand. In order to get the best quality linen, the flax is harvested by hand, thus no pollution is made during flax harvesting. Due to relatively cool and damp environment, the best quality flax is harvested in Europe. Given the limited regions where it is possible to grow top quality flax and the fact that the best quality flax is harvested by hand, linen is more expensive fabric than others.

Am a bit disappointed unfortunately. There were two issues with the skirt: it is much shorter than the length I asked for (length was customizable) and it has lighter coloured lines/creases in the fabric, that were there prior to sewing and do not come out. Andra was kind, but not quick to respond, I got a partial refund for the wrong length. (Was offered a return option too, but return shipping was at my expense.) I did not get a response on the fabric issue, of which I could only be sure after washing.

I have so many of these skirts; I practically live in them! Each one fits perfectly and the quality of the linen is outstanding. I love the gentle purple-blue of the lavender color.

Beautiful bright cobalt blue, it's a perfect fit and match for the top I ordered in the same color. Great together for a two-piece dress, or separately.
